Turn Off Transparency In Node Editor - Basics & Interface - Blender Artists  Community
When you open a node group, nodes from the parent node tree and from the parent node tree’s parent node tree… are still visible. Instead of a clean backdrop, you get a lot of noise that makes it difficult to concentrate on the active node tree. I can’t find any way to disable this very harmful feature.
